What to Eat on Your Wedding Day to Avoid Bloating

Bloating is not the best feeling to have at any times, let alone on your wedding day.

Naturally, all brides would want to avoid feeling bloated on their big day. You want to feel your best, and look your best in your wedding dress, and feeling bloated doesn’t help with that.

There are different factors that can cause bloating, including stress, hormones, weight gain, etc. However, food is often the reason, so when it comes to the food you’ll be eating on your big day, you’ll want to do what you can to prevent bloating.

That’s why I’m sharing a roundup of foods to eat on your big day, that can help reduce or prevent bloating from happening on your most important day.

What to Eat on Your Wedding Day to Avoid Bloating

Peppermint tea

Peppermint tea is great to drink on your wedding day, as it’s known to reduce bloating.

Ginger

Another food that’s known to reduce bloating is ginger - you can add it to your tea, or morning water, or include it in a meal. Ginger tea is also great for getting your blood sugar levels in check.

Pineapple

Pineapple also reduces bloating, so when you get hungry and feel like eating a snack, you can grab some pineapple. You can also eat it for breakfast.

Parsley

Parsley is a great thing to add to your wedding day meals, as it is also known to reduce bloating. You can add it to your morning smoothie if you want to mask the flavor, add it to soup, or chop it up and add it on top of your lunch.

Probiotics

Food with probiotics is great to eat, as it will help your digestive tract. For that, try fermented foods, such as kimchi  - it’s full of good bacteria. Other foods with probiotics are yogurt, kefir, and so on.

Fruits

Fruits can give you energy for the day, so it’s a great idea to incorporate them into your wedding day meal plan.

Vegetables

While veggies are always a great idea, especially for weight loss, you might want to avoid fresh veggies on your big day. Some raw vegetables, such as carrots, might be hard to digest, so for the sake of your digestive system, it’s better to steam them, boil them, or grill them. So, instead of eating processed foods which can lead to bloating, focus on healthy whole foods, such as veggies (but not raw).

Green Tea

Another great drink to have on your wedding day is green tea. Unlike carbonated drinks, green tea is known to reduce bloating. It can also help wake you up a bit, and it’s a better option than coffee.

Eggs

Eggs are great because they’re full of protein. Eating protein is good on your big day because it’s going to help you to stay full longer.
